Booking & General Enquiries

  • Redford Farm is set in the Shropshire countryside near the town of Ludlow. We are surrounded by open fields and rural lanes in the South Shropshire Hills.

  • Head to our property pages, choose your property, check availabiltiy and follow the steps to book. If you get a little lost along the way, or would prefer to speak to someone in person, please get in touch via the contact form, email or phone to discuss your stay and we’ll be more than happy to help.

  • Your stay includes exclusive use of the property and private gardens. Fresh linen, pantry basics, a starter bundle of firewood for the log fire. A full inventory will be provided prior to your stay.

  • Absolutely. We love dogs and we love having them to stay. We accept up to 5 dogs across bookings of the 2 barns. There are fenced gardens throughout plus a 6 acre field free of livestock where dogs are welcome to run freely.

    We ask that you do not leave your dogs unattended in the property for any long periods of time.

  • The barns sleep up to 13 guests, with additional accommodation in the shepherd’s huts and farmhouse bringing total capacity to around 30 guests across the farm.

  • Yes - the barns, farmhouse and huts can be booked individually or together for larger group stays, celebrations and family gatherings.

  • Yes — we welcome both weekend breaks and longer stays year-round, subject to availability. Our standard minimum is three nights; if this doesn’t suit you, please contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss alternative arrangements.

  • Yes. There is private parking on site for guests, with space for multiple cars adjacent to the barns. Parking is off-road and easy to access from the lane. If you need to bring more vehicles, or have specific requirements (large vans, horseboxes), please let us know in advance so we can advise and accommodate where possible.

  • Yes — Redford Farm is perfect for guests of all ages. Spacious outdoor areas, friendly farm animals, outdoor games and toddler toys keep everyone entertained, while flexible accommodation and optional shepherd huts make multi‑generational stays comfortable and convenient.

  • Yes - both barn properties include ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms, plus open-plan living spaces, making them suitable for guests with reduced mobility

  • A basket of firewood will be provided upon arrival. Additional firewood is availble on site for which we have an honesty box.

  • Yes, Redford Farm Stays is available for exclusive hire, giving you private use of the two barns, farmhouse, shepherd’s huts and outdoor spaces for your celebration.

  • Accommodation across all proeprties sleeps up to 30 guests, making it ideal for intimate weddingsa, family celebrations, birthdays, and other group gatherings.

  • We welcome a whole range of celebratgions from small intimate weddings, birthdays, naming ceremonies, anniversaires, family gatherings, and relxaed countryside weekend get togethers.

  • Yes, Redford Farm Stays is a great space for an intimate wedding or commitment ceremony. Please get in touch to discuss your plans. We’re happy to explore options for smaller, relaxed weddings and ceremonies and can even help with some of the planning.

  • Absolutey - you’re welcome to arrange your own catering, or we can recommend trusted local private chefs and suppliers.

  • Camping may be arranged as part of your celebration - please get in touch to discuss your needs.

  • The wellness area is available as an optional add-on for guests staying at Redford Farm Barns. Weekend hire is £75 and week-long hire is £100.

  • The wellness area includes a Baltic wood-fired sauna, cold plunge tub, outdoor cold-water shower and a peaceful seating area overlooking the countryside.

  • Yes, we recommend arranging use of the wellness area when making your booking to ensure availability.

  • The sauna is wood-fired, and logs can be purchased on site, just as they can for our other log burners.

  • Yes. Before using the wellness area, guests will receive an induction from Jude to ensure they feel comfortable and confident using the facilities.

  • The wellness area is located within the shared garden used by the barns. When booked, it is intended for the exclusive use of the guests who have hired it.

  • Absolutely. The wood-fired sauna is particularly enjoyable during the cooler months, while the cold plunge and outdoor setting can be enjoyed throughout the year.

  • Many guests enjoy hot and cold therapy for its potential to reduce stress, support recovery, improve wellbeing and promote relaxation during their stay.
